Coffee. Not my friend.

It's weird feeling jet-lagged when I haven't left the apartment. I started out on tea. I've switched up to coffee. And I feel weeeiiiiiiirrrrrd. Like a robotic owl.

And see... that makes sense to me right now. "Robotic owl" is a perfectly sensible phrase... that's where I am right now. Caffeine. Woo!

I started out fine. I was pacing myself pretty good. But somewhere I drank an extra cup that screwed up my rhythm (that's a weird word: rhythm... rhythm. Too many "h"s. SEE?!? I'm on a tangent.)

Now I'm tired and wide awake at the same time and my index finger is moving independent of my mind.

I've got to break the chain. I've got to switch up my technique. Find a new source of energy:

A) Yoga. I don't know yoga, but I think I can fake it OK. I can stretch while listening to sitar music, for example.

B) Switch back to tea. Tea tastes better and I like a drink that lets me see the bottom of the cup. It's got a little jolt, but the vibe is more organic. Plus the teddy bear on the side of the box is very calming.

C) Royal jelly. I don't know what royal jelly is. But I overheard some guy at the organic store talking about how much energy it gave him and he was in great shape. He looked like a calm gorilla. Anyway, it's probably packed full of vitamins and natural stuff and I could eat it on toast with peanut butter.

D) Cupcakes. Sugar. Doughnuts. Doughnuts sound good right. A nice cake doughnut with a hot cup of coffee. Okay, no doughnuts, bad idea.

E) Water. Drink water. Lots of water. Water is life.

Whatever I do, I gotta do something.
