Today the cause in our spotlight is stopglobalwarming.org.
I can hear you asking: "So. What are they all about?"
Just kidding. I think you know.
Stopglobalwarming.org is a "virtual march," bringing
folks together to raise awareness about the urgency of the global warming
problem and the need to solve it now.
How urgent? Let's see. A sampling of headlines from the last
couple weeks goes like this:
"North Pole
Could be Ice Free This Summer."
"Global
warming could cause humanitarian crises, report shows."
"NASA Warming
Scientist: 'This is the last chance."
"Extreme
weather to increase with climate change."
Uh, yeah. That's pretty urgent.
There's more than 1.1 million marches on board. They need more. I
hope you'll add your name.
And if you haven't already, join the i'm Initiative! You can make
sure they get a donation every time you IM or send e-mail.
PS: Later today I'm posting a video interview I did with
StopGlobalWarming.org's Director of Outreach, Lindsay Guetschow. Check it out.
