Love at first webcam sight

July 06, 2008 12:55 AM

I met someone last night.
Online speed-dating.
I wasn't really looking, but isn't that how it always works?
She's awesome.
I got her e-mail address.
But, isn't there a rule about waiting to e-mail someone you've just met?
Wait three days or something like that?

I can't wait. I'm going to e-mail her.
What if she doesn't e-mail back?
Is there another rule about waiting four days to respond to the e-mail that someone waited three days to send in the first place?

I'm nervous. I'm excited. I'm hopeful.
I'm really, really happy I met her. Her name's Diane.
